JSCAST is a Casting Simulation software which is the product of the company 'Qualica Inc.' in Japan.
The first version was released in 1986 as 'Soldia', and in 1996 it was named JSCAST.
Today, version 16 of JSCAST is available to users.
The software, which is originally developed by a Japanese company Komatsu Ltd., is being continuously enhanced including the joint development by Toshiba Machine and Osaka University.
JSCAST received the title of ‘Best-Selling Casting Simulation Software' in Japan.
JSCAST is a complete package software with 3D molten metal flow and solidification analysis system.
Valans Engineering is also a technical consulting company specializing in ferrous and non-ferrous castings and foundry processes like mold design (including gating, risering, molding and coremaking, melting and pouring).
